Good video shows how popular taking a course with train 2 game is coming when I started my games designer course last year this animation course wasn't even avalible just shows how new this training concept is taking off big time.

Its such a shame that i am to young to get involved in this type of work but when i become old enough and recieve qualifications this will be my dream.

wanted to do this course but was told they werent going to do it so ended up doing games design not what i wanted to do really now im really cheesed off wont be doing anymore with them

I have just signed up to this course and feel lucky enough that I waited to get on this course. I am enrolled on and started my studies and its really up to date. I have always wanted to pursue the career. My girlfriend accidentaly stumbled across it. It took a few months before we were contacted by them but they have alot of requests.

Traditional animation skills are what the games industry is looking for - unless you are looking to be technical animator.
Every company is different so being taught about 'the industry' in anymore depth than an overview is a waste of time; you'll learn what you need to know within a few months in the industry, I feel the time would be better spent focusing on a specific trade...and the traditional aspects of it.
A passion and knowledge of games themselves will always make you more appealing to potential employers, but there is no getting away from hard graft and practical, measurable skills..

im 12 and i got so exsighted wen i got the leflet but it sad i have to be 17 and i cride cuz iv woted to be a game desiner sins i wos 5.

i hope this is the real deal because this is something i have been whanting to do for a wile but have not been able to. i certainly will be looking further into this.
