Week 2
Week two was fun and intensive. I did some basic 2D graphics for one of the games and learnt lots of new things in Photoshop and Max at the studio. I also managed to do all of my tasks this week in the time allotted which I am glad of. I hope to speed up as I get used to a different way of working and more familiar with the games we are making.
Using a more up to date graphics tablet then I have at home I have realized how much I am missing out on not having the tilt option with my pen so I intend to ask Father Christmas if he could possibly make me a new graphics tablet in time for Christmas.
I am finding it incredibly interesting and challenging learning all these new things some of which I didn’t even know existed and have really enjoyed my second week at work. I love a challenge and learning new things so it has been a fantastic week for me and I’m looking forward to improving as an artist in leaps and bounds because of this. You can never stop learning and improving your skills as an artist so this has been a wonderful opportunity for me to do just that. Long may it continue.
