Week 1.5 (I started mid-week … go figure)
One down! 7 to go, that might get a little depressing towards the end; so I may well just skew the numbers
I really feel like I am getting into the swing of things now, the routine, the bizarrely (to me anyhow) quiet working atmosphere actually getting a lunch break, it’s all nice.
I have been working this week on super confidential documents! *nudge nudge wink wink* It’s been fantastic to really get stuck in to some tasks and have the opportunity to let my creativity fly. Learning from the people around me and moulding my ideas into this work is such a satisfying feeling.
Hopefully I will get more opportunities to do things like this, I’m looking forward to getting feedback on my work, both good and bad, as it will really help for me to focus and make sure I am shifting my work in the right direction.
The QA work is always there, it becomes as if you are not playing a game, you are working to make sure this is as good as it can be within the confines of its construction. Therefore the boredom you might expect to come from even the smallest game rarely hits, it is more likely you will get lost trying to work out the kind of things to test and how is the best way to go about it; simply playing the game is not enough.
Not really much else this week, but who knows!
Until next time, same bat time, same bat channel.
